So I dropped the ball on Valentine's Day. I planned on having cute outfits for both of my sweet babies to wear, but it just didn't happen. I didn't get anything ordered online in time and I knew better than to go shopping with my two sweeties in tow. So Will had his first holiday where he was not dressed accordingly. Gasp! If that's my biggest worry, I would say that I have a pretty easy life. ;)
Kate actually did have cute little Valentine's pj's, but I didn't buy them for her, they were a gift. So don't think I bought something for her and not Will. :)
Both of the kids did get plenty of gifts though. I thought it was funny that both grandparents sent something Toy Story-related for Will (among other things). Can you tell we are going through a major Toy Story phase here? My parents got him a Buzz toy and Curt's parents got him a Toy Story book. I let Will watch Toy Story while I am feeding Kate and I can literally quote every line of all 3 movies. ;)
This picture makes me laugh. If you have seen the first Toy Story, you know that when Andy got the new Buzz toy, he threw Woody on the ground and Woody was heartbroken. Will did the same thing (you can see Woody laying on the ground in the picture above). Poor Woody! Okay, enough about Toy Story. My how life has changed since having kids. ha!
And Will, of course, loved all of his Valentine chocolate. I haven't even given him the chocolate I got him yet since he got so much from Nana and Papa. It was the first thing he asked for when he woke up this morning. :)
After we finish our Valentine's chocolate, we are all going on a no-sugar diet for the next month!
Curt had been out of town for a couple of days, so it was so nice to have him home last night. We made a nice dinner and he got me some great gifts. He's such a good Valentine! But the best thing about him is that he makes me feel loved every day of the year, not just on Valentine's Day.
We had taken a break from playgroup while Kate was so small since it was flu season, but we went today for the first time with both kids. She, apparently, wasn't near as excited about it as I was. She slept through the whole thing and didn't even get out of her carrier. She acts like it wore her out though because she is still sleeping! Such a little Diva. :)
